Steve's surprise visit, so we celebrate!

Thursday I was meeting Annette and Abby at the Y Center to do the Pilates class at 6:30 PM. I went early to do the some cardio. I did my 45 minutes of cardio, but had about 20 minutes to wait until the Pilates class started. I went out to the lobby to use the restroom, and to see if Annette had checked in yet. I looked down the hall and there walked my brother Steve, and his wife, Shawn. Oh my gosh!!! I couldn't believe my eyes. My brother was here and NOT in Germany, where he was supposed to be. I took off running towards him, along with tears RUNNING down my face. I couldn't help my emotions. What a baby I was!!! He flew home for a surprise visit for 5 days. I so didn't expect to see him, but I'm sure glad that I was in that exact spot, at that exact minute.

Friday, I got a call from Annette. She said that Steve and his family were meeting at "Friends". She also said that my brother Jeff was coming over from Dexter to meet up with us as well. Extra bonus that Dawn came too. I can't even tell you the last time that us four siblings were together. It had to be at least summer time, maybe Mom's birthday or so... that would be July, or even before that. Who knows! It was fun and more than that... GREAT to see my family that I love and miss so much! It was a good "re-connect" time. We laughed at each other, with each other, and more importantly... at other people around us. There was the hair dresser guy there. Oh my! I'll cut my hair myself if he's the only or last option. :o) HA! What a great time with friends and family. Thanks Browns!!!
